Product Introduction
As a compact, fully integrated all-in-one solution, the AFE regenerative unit delivers exceptional low-harmonic performance and full regenerative capability, standing as the ultimate choice for superior power quality and maximum energy savings. The ZONCN AFE Regenerative Unit (hereafter referred to as the AFE Unit) feeds energy generated by the motor during braking back to the power grid. It achieves reliable effective braking while recovering and reusing more than 95% of regenerative power. Equipped with full-suite overtemperature, overvoltage and overcurrent protections, the unit boasts core advantages of low noise, low harmonic pollution, and high power factor.

The regenerative unit terminals are marked with R, S, T, +, - ,
respectively. These terminals (R, S, T, +, -) can be connected to the corresponding terminals of the inverter after opening the top cover of the regenerative unit. The wiring diagram is shown below:

Operating Principle of AFE Regenerative Unit
The regenerative unit inverts the energy generated during motor braking and fed into the inverter DC bus into an AC sine wave that is synchronized and in-phase with the power grid, thereby feeding the electric energy back to the grid.
